I entered the school in 2021 it is 2023 and I have yet to be in the field my suggestion if you really want to be a dental assistant is to do your research and don’t rush this process I had so many interviews and nobody would hire me due to me going to school for such a short amount of time they do not offer internships like other programs they offer job placement but when I went they only sent 1 job to apply to for the whole 10 week course and after they will follow you up with how you’re doing and your job process for a short amount of time this program is short and to the point they also do not cross train you with the administrative side like other programs which make you more diverse and competitive and a lot of dentist want you to be able to have that but I would recommend doing an internship while you are in this program if you decide to do it so you can build a relationship and become familiar with applying your skills because if you don’t use it you will lose it like I did this program was a waste of time and hard earned money for me but it made me realize that a career in the dental field is what I want so I am currently entering school again at another program that I know dentist are more familiar with and I know I will have all the tools I need to actually get hired and be successful bottom line is I would go to a different program but you might be able to have success with this program just because I didn’t don’t mean you won’t so if you want to take the chance but I wouldn’t recommend you doing so

I have loved everything about this program and hands-on learning experience since day one! The instructors at Flint River Dental have gone above and beyond to make sure everyone understands the material and is prepared to start their career as a dental assistant. Dr. Darby was so helpful and kind on observation/participation days and answered any questions I had! Ashley with Career Services was also very helpful during the job search/interview process. Starting this program was the best decision, and I have now accepted a dental assistant position one week before graduation! HIGHLY recommend ADAA to anyone looking to become a dental assistant, you won’t regret it!

This class was a waste of your hard earned money .. the class was suppose to be a 8 hour/10 week class (weekend course) it was only 4/5 hours. The teachers are worthless and don’t care ( although you ask for assistants/help..) if you pass or fail as long as your check cleared … passionate and committed to the success of their students is what the website say (ha ha). I would not recommend this course to anyone .. over all scam !!!!
